Join us after school for Bike Club each month at your school!
Riders are split into two groups.
Balance Builders (Learning to Ride) or Pedal Pros (Can Ride) - Your rider can quickly graduate into a Pedal Pro within a session or two.
Depending on the group, your little rider will either be Learning to Ride with our 4 step curriculum or going on Adventure Rides around the school or playing bike games with cones and obstacles.
Please arrive early or leave the bike near the lobby at the front of the school in the morning for your kid to have at the end of the day so your kid can get the maximum amount of fun out this awesome opportunity.
Throughout the club sessions, kids will build bike skills while also developing vital life skills like self-confidence and resilience. This program is an extraordinary way to ignite a lifelong passion for biking while nurturing essential Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skills.
Wind and temperature will be considered on the evening before each Bike Club. A refund or rescheduling would be offered in the case of a weather cancelation.

Coach Bill Andrews is the Mountain Brook MTB Team Head Coach for the Alabama Cycling Association. He will be guiding and instructing small groups during our kid bike clinics. He will cover basic bike skills for kids and techniques to advance your young rider’s biking ability. Bill is a certified mountain bike coach and the owner of Treeline Expeditions which has been offering youth bike programs for over 10 years. Treeline Expeditons and Little Hammies goals aligned perfectly because we aim to get your kids unplugged and on their bikes.

Max Klein is the organizer of Little Hammies. He is passionate about anything with two wheels! As a competitor and lifetime cyclist, he knows what riders love! Since 2019, he has been providing great race experiences and clinics to many riders in the Birmingham area.
